Glen Sloan Managing Director Glen Sloan (pianist/organist) began piano study at age five and started performing soon thereafter. He added organ study to piano lessons at age twelve and began playing professionally at age 13. He has performed concerts with his wife, Alisa Kay, at acclaimed churches throughout the United States. In addition, he has served in staff positions at leading churches in Oklahoma, Texas and Georgia. On numerous occasions he has been chosen to serve as organist/pianist for conferences sponsored by music publishers and distributors, and at national church conferences. Glen earned the bachelor of music degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and went on to study with Joyce Jones at Baylor University and Al Travis at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has participated as a performer in organ master classes conducted by some of the world's most celebrated organists: Catherine Crozier, Russell Saunders, and David Craighead. For over 20 years Glen has taught piano and organ for beginners through college-prep level students. In 1987 Glen and his wife, Alisa Kay, were founding directors of the Dunwoody School for the Arts. The Dunwoody School grew to a faculty of over 25 instructors and a student body exceeding 300. Almost twenty years later the Dunwoody School for the Arts is still training artists of all ages. As managing director at Medallion Glen has co-produced several major productions, including "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown," (2004) "Of Thee I Sing - A Patriotic Celebration" (2005 &2006), "A Broadway Showcase" (2005 & 2006), and "Smoke on the Mountain" (2006). These productions have been critically acclaimed while entertaining thousands of theatre enthusiasts in the North Georgia area.
